Principal
Dear Riverview Families,
I would like to welcome all of our returning and new families to Riverview. We are excited to share all that Riverview has to offer with you and believe you will soon feel as we do–that Riverview School is a special place for all children.
After ten years in the U.S. Navy operating nuclear power plants, where I was fortunate to travel the world and meet some amazing people, our family moved back to our hometown of Lebanon. I taught 8th grade math at Seven Oak Middle School, left briefly to be principal at a 7-12 school on the Oregon coast, and was then selected to be principal of Riverview.
This is my eleventh year as the Riverview Principal, and I am honored to be here. I am a big believer in my staff and what we do here at this school, and all three of my daughters have attended here. It is truly a privilege to continue to be part of a community where parents and school staff strive to build positive relationships that support academic and social growth.
I look forward to partnering with you to provide your children an effective and engaging educational experience. Together, we'll create a solid foundation so that your student has the opportunity to become a self-directed learner, collaborative teammate, critical thinker, and responsible citizen.
We will always put the best interests of our students at the center of our purpose. Please join us in ensuring the success of all of Riverview’s students.
