Apple Award highlights dedication of Riverview teacher
The Lebanon Community School District is proud to announce that Riverview Elementary teacher Erin Forrest has been selected as a recipient of the Apple Award, a special honor presented to educators who exemplify excellence, compassion, and dedication in the classroom.
Forrest is known for her remarkable ability to connect with students and provide the individual support they need to thrive. One student who was struggling to learn to read received personalized help from Forrest — including after-school sessions. Thanks to her patient and creative approach, that student is now flourishing and continues to benefit from the tools Mrs. Forrest provided.
Across the school, Forrest is recognized for her kindness, patience, and ability to see the unique potential in every child. She fosters an environment where students feel supported, motivated, and excited to learn.
As an Apple Award recipient, Forrest received a framed certificate, a gift card for a celebratory dinner at 1847 Bar & Grill, a $100 VISA gift card generously provided by Kirkpatrick Family Dentistry, and an engraved apple for her achievement.
